Enhancing photo sharing one ReadyNAS at a time…

It seems just like yesterday, but it’s been about 20 years or so when our only choice in photography was to deal with film.
Well, time has changed hasn’t it? Digital cameras have pretty much changed the photography landscape almost overnight. Today, most of us don’t even print photos anymore. It’s all about instant online sharing, and that’s become so common that we don’t think twice about doing that. Flikr, Picasa, and countless other photo sharing sites have become the way we share photos, and why not, they’re easy, and you get the basics for free or you pay a little for more capacity.
Well, “basic” pretty much sums up what you get. Online photo sharing for the most part is pretty basic. You’re getting a way to upload your photos so they can be viewed in a pretty much lifeless slideshow that refreshes every 5 seconds. Unless you’re going to spring for a website designer, that’s really your only option.
Well, what if you can do something more interesting, and something that’s not going to cost you even a penny if you own a late-generation ReadyNAS? Something like this… (click below):
