Add-ons for RAIDiator 3.01

The following addons are available for the RAIDiator 3.01 release. To install the add-on, you will need to download the add-on image and install it in the System/Update/Local tab. You will need to reboot after each addon installation.

FixOfficeJet9130 – Allows scanning support for multi-function HP OfficeJet 9130 printers.

ToggleSSH – Toggles access via SSH, useful for NETGEAR support to remotely access your box to look at or fix problems that requires deeper understanding. However, SSH access may be vulnerable to outside hackers, and it is recommended that you disable it. SSH access is enabled by default.

ToggleVistaBoost – Toggles performance optimization for Vista clients. Vista optimization is disabled by default.

ToggleOplocks – Toggles oplocks support for all shares on the ReadyNAS NV. Opportunistic locking (oplocks) can enhance CIFS performance by allowing files residing on this NAS to be cached locally on the Windows client, eliminating network latency when files are repeatedly accessed. Oplocks is disabled by default.

SlimServer_Fontpack – Adds unicode font support to SlimServer. !Note! The font used is shareware. Please read here for details.

Update_SlimServer_ALAC – Update Apple Lossless playback support to work with Apple Lossless files which were not encoded using iTunes.

EnableUserModeACLs – Enable ReadyNAS user listing from Windows clients when setting ACLs in User security mode. For use only with RAIDiator 3.01c1-p6.

EnablePowerOnTimerSupport – Enables Power On support for the ReadyNAS NV. This option is not available by default because the NV can get into a situation where it will not power on if the scheduled ON event occurs while the NV has no power. You will need to release the battery for about 5 secs to recover from this situation. Please understand this before installing and using this feature.

EnableFanMinRPMOverride – This addon is available for user who are replacing the stock fan with a fan meeting the specs of the ReadyNAS. The addon allows you to set up the fan minimum RPM speed, overriding the minimum setting for the stock fan. The option appears in the System/Power Management tab in FrontView. Use of this addon is discouraged as misuse can lead to fan circuitry failure on the mainboard. Please also understand that use of this addon to lower the fan RPM below the default will void your ReadyNAS warranty.

SlimServer_PluginPack – Adds WeatherTime v1.8, SuperDateTime v5.0.13, LazySearch2 v2.3, LastFM v2.0.2, XMRadio v1.1.1 and SlimScrobbler v0.37.1 SlimServer plugins. (Requires SlimServer_6.5.1.0 or later) Last updated 9/21/2007

SlimServer 6.5.4.0 – The latest available stable SlimServer release.

Disable_SlimServer_FW_Check – Usually SlimServer will force your SqueezeBox to up/downgrade its firmware to the version that corresponds with SlimServer. This addon will disable this behavior, and allow you to attempt to run with whatever your current SqueezeBox firmware is.

NoSMBDisconnect – By default, inactive clients (zero open files) on a CIFS share are disconnected after 10 minutes to free up system resources. Clients will auto-reconnect on demand, but there can be a delay of a few seconds during this time. With this addon installed, no auto-disconnection will be performed.

ToggleMasterBrowser – By default, the ReadyNAS will become the SMB master browser on your network, unless you have a Windows NT/2K/2K3 server on the network. This addon will change this behavior to never become the SMB master browser. If you install the addon again, it will change the behavior back to default.

CleanTwonky – You can use this if somehow the TwonkyMedia settings were set in such a way where you can no longer access it. All this does is reset all settings to the default settings.

CleanITunesConfig – You can use this if somehow the iTunes Streaming Server (or Firefly) settings were set in such a way where you can no longer access it. All this does is reset all settings to the default settings.

CleanSlimServer – You can use this if somehow the SlimServer settings were set in such a way where you can no longer access it. All this does is reset all settings to the default settings.
