Tomorrow, May 10th, is my last day at NETGEAR.
It goes without saying that I will miss my fellow ReadyNAS Team, also known as the Jedi Council on the forum. Admittedly, yoh-dah doesn’t have all the answers, but the Jedi Council often work behind the scene to make it look like yoh-dah does. You would not believe the diversity of background of the Team, but it’s definitely the best group of folks I’ve been associated professionally, and I’m certainly proud of their accomplishments.
I will miss the ReadyNAS Community who helped fuel the ReadyNAS to become the leading player in the network storage world. Without folks like mdgm, dbott67, WhoCares?, super-poussin, PapaBear, sphardy, TeknoJnky, beisser, btaroli, and countless other forum members, the community could not thrive, and I certainly want to personally thank all of you for the help and support you’ve given the Team. It’s certainly a fact that you have helped shape our products immensely through your constant feedback and often deserving constructive criticism on the forum and with our numerous beta cycles.
It’s a little hard to swallow in a way, but yoh-dah is taking time off and spending some quality time with family, something I wish more of us in our industry can do. I’m certainly blessed that I can do this at this stage in my life.
In closing, I will leave you in good hands with chirpa, skywalker, han solo, ewok, r2-d2, and all the rest of the Jedi Council. Please follow @chirpah on Twitter and continue to like ReadyNAS on Facebook for the latest in ReadyNAS news. You’re certainly welcome to continue following the adventures of @yohdah on Twitter – who knows, yoh-dah may show up as dopey or something somewhere else in the future
All the Best,
Yoh-dah
