Ultra 6+ Memory Recommendations

Postby Teppic » Thu May 12, 2011 11:50 pm

Howdy folks,

Looking at getting an Ultra6+ - any recommendations for memory? Should I go 2 X 2GB or 2 X 4GB?

Thanks! :neener:

Get the Pro6 (not much more expensive) i.e. RNDP6000-200 which has a faster CPU, 2 years extra warranty and business features.

Memory upgrades are not supported. Be sure to run the memory test using the boot menu before trusting the memory.

If you do, do a memory upgrade go with 2x4GB. There are suggestions on the forum.

Pro6 has a CPU with VT-x which is needed to run 64-bit VMs using VirtualBox
