Through trial and error I found a 1GB memory module for a friends NV+ that works.
It passes the memory test, boots and has been running without problem for over a week.

Label says:

Thanks for posting this. I just wanted to confirm that, on this recommendation, I've purchased this same memory from Amazon.com, and have successfully completed two memory tests in my ReadyNAS NV+. Looks good.
