Changing Readynas IP breaks iSCSI with VMWare

I am runing a 4200 with RAIDiator 4.2.21. I have a ISCSI LUN with 5.0 VM's. iSCSI CHAP disabled, access control disabled. Everything works great.

We are moving the ESXi hosts and Readynas to a new datacenter and we need to change the IP's. I want to test the procedure before I move so I just changed the IP on the readynas from .83 to .183 staying on the same subnet. I rebooted the readynas for good luck. RAIDar shows the new IP's, I can login frontview every thing looks good. Then I setup VMware for the new ISCSI target (iSCSI Initiator, Dynamic Discovery & Static Discovery then Add Storage) I can see the LUN in my list of datastores. But when I browse the datastore the window just says searching for about 5 min then times out. I already rebooted the readynas so I rebooted the ESXi host. Same result can not browse datastore and VM's are inaccessable.

I rolled everything back to the old IP .83 and it works again.

Thinking I made a configuration mistake I did it all over again, change to the new IP .183 rebooted readynas, setup VM Ware iSCSCI initiator and datastore, rebooted ESXi. Same issue I can not browse the datastore and VM's are inaccessable with the new IP.

I rolled everything back to the old IP and it works again.

Anyone have any ideas about how I can get the IP change to work with iSCSI?

Thanks,

Troy
