Receive errors 0
Symbol errors 0
VLAN tags 0

Unrecovered TCP Retransmits 16280

This is what I receive on the 1100 eth02

Network Errors [Ethernet 2]

Disconnect 0
False carrier 2921
Idle errors 13369
Link failures 0

TCP Retransmits 21263
Unrecovered TCP Retransmits 16280

These findings cam about when I kept receiving the event in our VMWare server:

point /ESX mounted as b175e60c-45a2f524-0000-

Could those network errors be effectingthe NFS storage to lose connection?
If so I can I resolve the issue.

Could they? Yes.

Are they? More testing is required.

If these retransmits are occurring at the same time as your disconnection, then they may be playing a part in the loss of connectivity.

Look for patterns in the disconnection (Every day at 2PM, when I/O load reaches X, etc) once you are able to isolate and replicate the issue, you may then do a packet trace if needed to determine what might be going on.

I'm hoping at this point that you've resolved the issue as the original post was some time ago, but in the event you haven't, hopefully this will give you a place to start isolating and triaging the issue.

Cheers!
