RNDP4420 and presistent reservation

Postby majortom1981 » Sat Apr 16, 2011 8:15 am

I am looking into buying the RNDP4420. I was wondering if it supported persistent reservation. We are a library looking to setup a cluster for hyper-v . Our current Nas device does not support this and we need to buy a new one that is not to expensive and this looks like it might work.

Yes it is supported. You might want to take a look at this thread: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=49045

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.
