Which folders does the egnyte console see?

I'm setting up our ReadyNAS and testing the egnyte OLC addon. I'd like to backup shares to the cloud, but do not want to use the shared/private folders. How do I change them? MAX_PATH is being reached, so I would like the shares to be the top level, not ELC\shared\share-name. Thanks!

Hi allenelson,

Data is only synced under /Shared or /Private. There is no way to change that currently. My only suggestion would be to consolidate the max path in order to accommodate for the ELC/Shared.

Thanks for the reply. I do not want to sync the entire folder I put into shared, only a few of the subfolders. When I look at the folder configuration on the egnyte console, it doesn't go into the sub directories to select.

/Shared
/Shared/APPSERVER
/Shared/DC2
/Private
/Private/ccsengineering

There are many folders under APPSERVER and DC2 that I would like to back up. Is this not possible either?

In the current release, individual sub-folder sync (backup) is not available. But the feature is currently in development and is scheduled for release February/March. I'll keep you updated on the status of the release as it progresses.
