If you're referring to using a Windows Vista or Windows 7 machine you can look at Wireless Performance Issues with Vista/Windows7 and the ReadyNAS

Just because an update might not have what you want in it, it doesn't make it a bad update.

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.

@ mdgm

that is only for a/b/g wireless not for N
so it wil not work even netgear support don't have the right solution for this issue,
I was communicating with them for more than 4 months with no solution, they are not capable to solve this issue.

so i think they do not make a new firmware because it is not possible for this issue.
please let they come out and say :"idd it's not possible."

butt they don't do that and just bring us once at the time a update with minor chances.
so please give us good updates.
