4.1.8 Beta question: Backups and Power-off

Postby BadBrad » Tue Aug 16, 2011 10:30 am

Quick Question: I perform regular backups and power off my device from 11:30 pm to 6:15 am since it resides in our bedroom.

I have switched to using the rsnapshot plugin to perform backups as snapshots to a external USB disk. I am currently using 4.1.6.

Does anyone know if 4.1.8 will delay power off if rsnapshot is in progress? I see in the change list power off is delayed if a backup job is in the queue.

To tell you the truth, i have never checked to see if 4.1.6 will delay power off if rsnapshot is in progress.

It will power off. It only checks its own internal backup jobs in progress, set via FrontView Backup Manager.
