AirPrint Serving

Please post all that you want from a ReadyNAS here. Nothing guaranteed, but we'll certainly do our best if you make a good case for it.

AirPrint Serving

Postby schalliol » Fri Feb 24, 2012 9:15 am

There are several threads around the community about AirPrint. People would like to be able to have the ReadyNAS relay AirPrint commands either from a directly connected printer or another printer (or printers) on the network. The thread shown here has a good deal of information: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=47857

Seeing as the Genie supports it, shouldn't take much to add it to ReadyNAS.

Glad to hear it. Oh, Jedi, since you work with NETGEAR as well as the Genie team, can you help make it happen? :)

You haven't noticed? I'm a Jedi Alumni now. I quit NTGR in June. I can't help you with that stuff anymore :(

Good to know. But I have no hope for the ReadyNAS Duo (v1) ... - at least not from the official side (Netgear).
Maybe the community (addon developers) will take care of that. I assume that there's enough demand / interest for AirPrint.
