Transmission Access from Internet

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to setup access to the transmission interface so I keep an eye on downloads whilst I'm out and about . But I'm having a few difficulties and wondered if anyone can spot anything obvious.

THE SETUP
Draytek 2820 on ADSL2+
DMZ - 192.168.1.2 (ReadyNas Duo V2)
3389 Port Redirect - to 192.168.1.202 (RDP for my PC)
Remote management of the draytek interface is via http on port 8080 (all others disabled)

ReadyNAS Duo V2
Management interface - https (443)
Transmission interface - http on port 8081

Any ideas?

I try and access the device via my public IP x.x.146.87. I type http://x.x.146.87:8081 in the browser. My draytek 2820 should see 8081 and forward to my DMZ (192.168.1.2) on the same port (8081). But it still don't work

You can try looking in the log of your router. Most likely it has entries for the port-forwards it does.
In the past I also had some problems with an old router of mine that did weird things with the DMZ'ed pc when I also set other port-forwarding rules. You might want to try to disable DMZ and forward the applicable ports manually (8081 for the webgui and 443 for Frontview, port 51413 for the peer connections is done using upnp if upnp is turned on on your router).

Lastly, if you want transmission to accept connections from all IP's, you could also use

Maybe just turning the whitelist off also does the trick, but I'm never looked into that.
