How to turn off unsecure FTP login

Is it possible to turn off the possibility to log in with plain text password FTP to ReadyNAS Duo?

I would like to make it possible to login to my ReadyNAS only through secure FTP.

I'm pretty sure it's not supported through Frontview. But I believe it's possible through command line.

ReadyNAS uses proftpd, and one of the configuration directives is TLSRequired

Although I haven't tried it, I imagine you could edit proftpd.conf if you have ssh access.

There is no hint of that in their bug database, and http://www.proftpd.org/docs/directives/ ... uired.html is also on the same site and doesn't have the fixme stuff. Also http://www.proftpd.org/docs/howto/TLS.html

I suspect the userguide is simply out of date
