DUO v2 Users home folders

Postby csofm » Fri Jul 13, 2012 1:04 am

Hello,

hopefully someone can help me out,

I've been a ready nas v1 owner for a year & have recently upgraded to the V2

I have 3 users setup on v2 with private home folders, all works fine and the users can connect fine, but after a day or 2 the home shares become unavailable, when a user tries to connect via the mapped drive in windows, Windows just reports network name not available.

all other shares are fine just the user private home shares.

the only way to fix the issue is to reload the NAS, once reloaded the shares are fine again. is there a known bug ?, my ready nas v1 was setup the same & i never had any issues.

Cheers
Chris

Yes this issue is a known bug with 5.3.5 firmware, it does not normally happen often but the fix is what you all'ready did reboot Nas and they show up hopefully they will fix this in next firmware update.
