using winscp to ftp into my nas but not seeing all folders

i have sucess fully logged into my NAS with my FTP client (WinSCP) but I can only see 2 folders inthe /root dir. One is my USB drive the other is a folder called backup (share). How to I see the rest of the files?
NAS: ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus | 3x3TB [1 x WD30EZRS-00J99B0 & 2 x Seagate ST3000DM001-9YN166]
Network: Netgear GS108NA 8-port Gigabit Switch

i installed the enablessh addon and logged in as root. i can now see all data.
NAS: ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus | 3x3TB [1 x WD30EZRS-00J99B0 & 2 x Seagate ST3000DM001-9YN166]

This should not have been necessary. You should have been able to see all the shares that are configured to allow FTP using your admin logon/password. If you have other users configured, you should have been able to use their credentials, and seen whatever data they are permitted to see.

I am wondering
(a) what shares are enabled for FTP access
(b) how many users/groups you have configured on the NAS, and if they have limited access permissions.

i do not have any shares. i am mapping volumes using iscsi.

i do not have any other users created.
