Share read/write with certain Folders?

I have my share where I'm archiving but I want to share a folder inside without letting write permissions for other folders in other my share. Is there a way to do that without making a completely new share for items like photos. I may eventually do that but for ease so far I had it in my share.

I tried to accomplish what you are looking to do by changing the permission of the subfolder via Windows XP. While I could change the permissions to allow R/W access, that seemed to have no effect. This appears to be controlled at the Share Level by the ReadyNas. Maybe someone else has a better suggestions.
