Can't connect to domain, can't change back to share mode

Postby dboillot » Wed Jun 11, 2008 1:12 pm

Hello, im having a problem with my ready NAS NV+.

I tried getting it to connect to the domain, it looks like it does, but when i try and connect to it, i get this error,

"Configuration infomation could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailaable, or access has been denied."

Not knowing what to do, and not having time to play with it, i tried to turn it back to "share" mode... its been setting there w/ the progress bar moving for the past hour.. what gives???

Oh and i have 1 share on here but no files in side it. (ready NAS has 2 1TB drives in raid-0)

Fixed it myslef.....

Had to reboot, change to share mode, then back to Domain mode and put in a bad admin password, then changed to share mode, and clicked NO on the ownership question. now its back in share mode.. ((no idea if all that is nessary, but that's what i did and its working for me now))
