After I click through migration assistant to restore from time machine or other disk, it sees the readynas, I click continue, I then get the error: some backups cannot be opened. Make sure all of your network devices are connected and turned on. It appears that some backups are already in use. If you don't see the backup you need, make sure it is not currently mounted by another machine and try again.
If I manually go into the readynas, locate the sparse bundle and click on it, it gets mounted as a volume. In migration assistant I see my recent HD backup, and the readyNAS. Click on the readynas to connect then get the same error as above.
When I click the sparse bundle and mount it, I get an error Mac OSX can't repair the disk "Time Machine Backups". You can still open or copy files on the disk but you can't save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can.
I've rebooted the readynas and the mac.
Can I manually restore the file folders???
