Model: ReadyNAS NV+ [X-RAID]
Serial: 23J5127R00539
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.1.9 [1.00a043]
Memory: 256 MB [2.5-3-3-7]

I own a ReadyNas NV+ 4 bay Gigabit Desktop Storage. Model # RND4000-100NAS with 4x Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166, (which gives you 5538 Gigs of room X-Raid ) and I live in B.C. Canada. It was bought 4/8/2011. It has worked flawlessly since :) I have had it. I have the original box and Cd. It is in New condition. This item is being sold because I purchased another one (ReadyNas Utra 4). I will consider an offer of $1000. I will ship only within Canada and there will be an additional charge.

Unless you are desperate for cash, you might want to consider using it to back up your Ultra4 via rsync. You can schedule a daily/nightly backup of the data on your Ultra so if you have any downtime or problems with the Ultra you would still have your data intact. It only takes minutes for rsync to synchronize a share from the source device to the backup device. I went to NAS to NAS backup two years ago and would not want to be without it now.

In the used market a bare NV+ does well to sell for $200 and even with the four drives, your price is well above market. Check some of the used listings. It could be worth more to you as a backup device.
Remember - the NAS is not a backup plan.

Backup = Good, No Backup = Bad

I’m interested but the price is way too high! I’m not really fussed about the disks. Let me know if you’d like to talk.
