FS: Infrant NV rev B - diskless

Postby Sunday Afternoon » Sat Jan 28, 2012 5:48 pm

Hi everyone,

The time has come to part with my trusty Infrant NV rev B, my introduction to the joys of having a NAS at home.

Notes:
  • Memory was upgraded to 1GB shortly after purchase.
  • This unit has the replacement psu as it falls into the number range shipped with the poorer psu.

Selling diskless with the 1GB memory. RAIDiator 4.1.8 is installed. I'm asking $160 shipped ground to lower 48 states. Payment would be by Paypal.

Please PM with any questions.

interested is it the original infrant nv or the netgear NV+ stupid question but are the two the same thing, or are the compatible. Min netgear NV+ died and would like to just switch drives.

thanks

Compatible but the Infrant NV lacks the LCD of the NV+ (v1) and there are a few other differences.

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.

As mdgm states, the NV rev B is compatible with the NV+ so you should be able to switch drives. I'll PM you too.
