Feb  3 20:00:01 Skywalker /USR/SBIN/CRON[6527]: (root) CMD (  nice -n 19 /etc/cron.daily/ntpdate &> /dev/null)
Feb  3 20:00:01 Skywalker /USR/SBIN/CRON[6528]: (root) CMD (/c/media/BitTorrent/trans_watchdog)

the file in /tmp is copied in /c/media/BitTorrent/
so no use of the one in /tmp

what is the problem with unrar ?

I've installed the latest Transmission. If I run the watchdog script, it starts transmission, which lasts for only a few minutes before disappearing from the process table. Is there a transmission logfile somewhere?

If I use -f to run the daemon without detaching, the output looks ok until it dies:

Code: Select all
Blocklist "level1.bin" updated with 1289 entries
Blocklist "level1.bin" contains 1289 entries
RPC Server: Adding address to whitelist: *
PuTTYRPC Server: Serving RPC and Web requests on port 8181
RPC Server: Whitelist enabled
RPC Server: Password required
Transmission 1.50b4 (7815) started
transmission-daemon: requiring authentication

I didn't have much luck running it under gdb.

I have the 1.50i installed :) Maybe the problem is that i have two dirs .. one Media and one media... but when i install the addon no watch_dog file i created under c/media-bittorrent the only one i can see is the one in the tmp dir..
