Re: New Transmission add-on thread

i have installed transmission 1.60 and using it for the first time. looks like a very good bittorrent manager, however i cannot see where to automatically transfer finished torrents to a designated folder. i have looked in the settings.json file and the preferences from the GUI. can someone tell me if an additional line is require in the settings.json file?

thanks

can anybody tell me if version 1.60 for the NV+ is capable of setting 2 speed schedules? i ask because my off peak download is from 1am to 7 am, which means that i need to start it at 12:00, turn it off at 1:00, then start it again at 7:00 and finally turn it off at 23:59. would it be possible to double the entries in the settings.json file for the scheduler?

thanks

After upgrading to 1.60, when I run the remote-GUI, as soon as I touch a torrent in the listing, it errors out with an "Access violation" and drops the connection to the NAS/transmission. The same occurs when I try to access settings in the remote-GUI interface..
I know this isn't exactly supported by superp. but maybe you know what causes this?

Anyone knows how to solve this, with a bunch of torrents half-way and some finished etc.?

The web-interface GUI works 100%.

I had the same problem and it was fixed by upgrading to the latest GUI. Assuming you're running on Windows, it would be Transmission Remote dotnet 3.7 which has a load of fixes for Transmission 1.60.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! For some strange reason my bookmark of the remote GUI points to old versions..

In the "Changes for 1.61" you mention everything that has been changed the last 10 versions. Could you mention just what has changed for the latest version, so we actually know what has changed since the previous one?

Also, the start.sh script has a double entry at the top.

it's the 5 first line :
All Platforms
•Close potential CSRF security hole for Web Client users
•Fix locale error in the JSON parser
Daemon
•transmission-remote was unable to select torrents by their SHA1 hash
Web Client
•Fix 1.60 error when serving Web Client files on some embedded
•Add response header to allow clients to cache static files

what do you mean for the start.sh ? only is execute :

Code: Select all
start-stop-daemon --chuid nobody --start --pidfile /var/run/transmission-daemon.pid --make-pidfile \
            --exec /usr/local/bin/transmission-daemon --background --nicelevel 5 -- -g /c/addons-config/Transmission/transmission-daemon
~

Well, I encountered an issue right away with 1.61. All attempts to upload new torrent files (as files, not URL) failed to succeed. I reverted to 1.60 and all is well again.

I have the same problem like btaroli said above. I use IE and Firefox.
I tied to delete the shares and re-install the transmission, and still didn't work.
-Thanks

Hi all,

I just confirm that in the v1.61 I could not add files from the new interface. I tested with FF3, IE7 and Chrome.
Hope could help debugging.

But anyway thanks for Transmission, I'll use the transmission-remote-dotnet client in the mid time.
Regards,

Hello Super,
Same trouble here : cannot add new torrents.
No error displayed, just they are not shown in the GUI.

Cheers,
