• Description:
  

  Automatic is an RSS downloader for Linux based systems, that grabs your favorite torrents based on filters you specify.
  It was designed to integrate with the popular BitTorrent client Transmission (http://transmissionbt.com). Any torrents grabbed by Automatic are directly added to Transmission, effectively making it an auto-downloader.

  • Added: New commandline option "--append-log|-a" to not overwrite the log from a previous session

• Details:
  
  • This addon contains the automatic binary (located in /usr/local/bin) and a sample configuration file /etc/automatic.conf-sample.
  • It doesn't provide a graphical or web based setup, you have to rename the supplied sample config and edit the file as needed
  • Important: When run from the command line automatic will complain about a missing version information on the libcurl.so. That's a known bug of the specific version of libcurl installed on the ReadyNAS Sparc line which does NOT affect functionality. (hat tip to "staleand" for reminding me to post that info here)
• Previous Versions:
  - 0.9.3: automatic 0.6.2 contains a bug that causes it to not download anything when used with the libraries available on the NV+/Duo. This version contains a fixed automatic binary that will work on Sparc ReadyNAS systems. (Thanks to Trial_Master who made me aware of this)
