Upgrading switch to gig bit and trying to set NAS from 100 mbit to gbit and it does not seem to be an option. Where can I look to see if there is a part to add or if it is not capable?

Set it to auto and it should auto negotiate to gigabit. Be sure to use Cat5e or newer ethernet cables.
