*OLD BETA* RAIDiator x86 4.2.11 Beta available for testing!

RAIDiator 4.2.11 is a minor update to the RAIDiator 4.0 series for the ReadyNAS NVX, Pro, 2100, and 3200. For those who have been following the 4.2.10 beta release, the decision was made to release that firmware version internally for our upcoming 3100 and 4200 products, but proceed with 4.2.11 as a unified firmware for all x86 ReadyNAS.

To install a test firmware, download the release image from the link, go to the System/Update/Local tab in FrontView and upload the firmware image there. You will need to reboot the ReadyNAS once the image has been uploaded.

Bugs from this release should be posted in this forum with subject prefixed with the test release name, for example "T6: this so and so does not appear to be working". Please be courteous and don't hijack a thread. If you have a different issue, open a new thread.

Bug fixes:

1. [T6] Fixed disk spindown.
2. [T6] Fixed potential hang condition that some forum members have been experiencing. Please help in verifying this fix if you've encountered hangs that could not be traced to anything in the logs.

4. [T6] Fixed "hung mac and receiver hang detected" problem with the network driver. The network driver should no longer disconnect due to this condition.

Limitations:
1. IE 6 no longer supported. Please update to IE 7 or 8.
2. Volume expansion will not work beyond 16 TB. To support 16 TB or greater, you'll have to factory default with that capacity in place.
3. Snapshot resizing has been disabled in the release. We will re-enable this feature in a future update.
