4.2.13 - corrupt PST files.

I upgraded my NVX to this firmware and shortly afterwards the Outlook PST files which are stored on the NAS drive have become corrupt and I am unable to send and receive email.
This applies to two different PST files being accessed from two different computers running Outlook 2003 SP3
All files were closed during the upgrade and both machines and the NVX were restarted but files still appeared corrupt.

I have just reverted back to 4.2.12 and both files are accessible and working.

Thanks, I was aware of issues with PST files on network drives but have been using them without issues for the last five years.
I need to access my outlook data from a desktop and a laptop which is why I put the PST on the NAS drive.

I will just stick to 4.2.12 as I have had no issues with it.

How about hosted exchange? Its a much better and more feature rich solution.

Currently, I am still on 4.2.12 specifically so I can use my Outlook from any PC in the house accessing the .pst file on the NAS.

Is there firmware AFTER confirmed 4.2.13 which allows the .pst to be stored on the NAS?

AFAIK there's no known issue with storing PST files on newer RAIDIATOR versions.

If you want to try a newer version of RAIDIATOR, I recommend you first backup your PST to a separate drive. Upgrade your NAS then try again. If the file appears corrupted, try running SCANPST on the database and see if it repairs it.

I also highly recommend you be using a UNICODE PST as opposed to the 2GB limited ANSI PST.
