4.2.16 [T75] 201364 hr to sync C

Mine hanged while doing the initial 6x2TB sync.

Configuration: RAID Level X-RAID2, 6 disks (with dual redundancy)
Status: Resync 0% complete, Time to finish 10 hr 6 min, Speed 51.9 MB/sec

This was it before hand, when I went to sleep and when I woke up it was like this

Configuration: RAID Level X-RAID2, 6 disks (with dual redundancy)
Status: Resync 21.7% complete, Time to finish 201364 hr 568 min, Speed 24.2 kb/sec

It shouldn't be that slow should it?
it hanged while resyncing and it had no data on it :(

Something is not correct - I doubt it will take 25 years to finish - suggest trying again!

I'll know if it progressed when I get home, when I woke up I restarted it.
I was curious to see if it was going to stall in the same place.

I did a test disk option and everything passed.
So I started a factory reset and now it's like this,

Configuration: RAID Level X-RAID2, 6 disks
Status: Resync 38% complete, Time to finish 3800 hr 49 min, Speed 87 KB/sec

it's going ridiculously slow :/ I guess it's time to call support.

Yes - half a year is still too long!

If you can it'd be ideal to hook the drives up to a SATA port on your PC and run the manufacturer tests. While the "Test Disks" boot option is good, it's not quite as good as the manufacturer's tests.

You may also wish to run the "memory test" if you haven't already. See http://home.bott.ca/webserver/?p=252
