Unable to access ReadyNAS Photos on workstation

I installed ReadyNAS Photos on my Vista x64 workstation using Admin rights and it seems to have installed properly. However, when I try to run the application at http://localhost:81/readynas I get a page not found.

Looking at the install.log I see: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect. You can find the log file for you review at http://www.underpressuredivers.com/install.log. Can you point me in the right direction on how to get the application started?

Do you see the ReadyNAS Photos icon in your system tray?

Which browser are you using? Can you check if changing the browser helps?

When you installed the application did you run the install with java or without?

The tray icon is there and if I exit I can restart the application. However, I get the page not found using IE7. As I mentioned using Vista x64.

I downloaded the Windows version which is only with Java from what I can tell. Under the Dekoh directory I do see the JRE directory, so I assume Java installed.

Can you check your host files (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts) to see if there is an IP V6 entry for localhost? If the file has two localhost entries like:

127.0.0.1       localhost

Can you comment out one, restart photos and see if it helps?!

That was the issue.

I commented out the "::1" line and was able to get to the login screen.
