Hello,
I have upgraded my firmware of my ReadyNAS Duo v1 from 4.1.8 to 4.1.9.
Everything was working fine. I could access the shares via WIFI (NetGear Router DGN2200) and my Time Machine backups worked perfectly.
A few days after the firmware upgrade, the ReadyNAS started doing weird things.
I was not able to connect to it via FrontView OR Raidar. In the Netgear Router (DGN2200), under the 'Attached Devices' tab, I see the IP is assigned to the ReadyNAS - however I still cannot access shares from my Mac laptop or Windows PC.
I tried holding down the power button to turn the ReadyNAS off, but it does not respond. The blue LED light stays solid bright blue. I then turned off the main power supply. I have SMTP setup on the ReadyNAS, so when it boots from a un-expected shutdown, it send me a email "Improper shutdown detected. (ReadyNAS)" (So it means the ReadyNAS does have network and connectivity), however I was still un-able to connect. I then reset the firmware by pressing the reset (with a pin) button behind for 5 seconds. Everything worked again... but not for long!
I resetted the firmware again and connected to FrontView. I then downgraded the firmware back to 4.1.8 - it worked for about a day and then later the evening lost all connectivity again.
I am still un-able to resolve this. Would you please advise next steps?
Thanks,
Shuaib
