NAS NV+ Stuck in Boot Mode

My NAS NV+ is stuck in boot mode. I have tried a forced shutdown and then tried to restart it, but it gets stuck in boot mode.

Anyone have any ideas on the next steps?

Anyone know how to contact tech support without being charged?
I do not know the IP address and can not access FrontView.

On-line support via support.netgear.com is free. Phone in support is free for the first 90 days after purchase.

RAIDar might show you the address. You can also try removing unplugging the ethernet cable, and then reinserting it. With the Pro, that displays the IP address on the LCD panel.

Mine get get on 'Booting...' for at least 8 hours then after it goes back to normal.

Is this normal for it to hang on 'Booting...' for 8 hours?

No, you should open an on-line support ticket. BTW, posting your issue on a single new thread is better than multiple posts on other threads. Even if the symptoms appear similar, the root causes are often not the same.

okay. Thanks for the head-up. last night I restarted the Nas and that only took roughly an hour. I'm starting to think if that it does take an hour as I kinda fell asleep when it was booting :p

It should only take a minute or so (assuming the unit was shut down properly).
