I am assuming you mean Duo V2???

-ultra is faster, and presently has more features. This includes NFS, FTP, etc, as well as community add-ons.
-Duo v2 has the new UI, and is reasonably fast.
-Duo v1 has most of the features of the ultra, but is by far the slowest.

Personally I would go with the ultra.

Thanks, Steven!

(Btw; Yes, I meant V2.) So, Ultra covers basically all features/services that can run on Duo, right?

It is essentially a superset.

The only Duo V2 features that are not on the ultra are:
    Volume monitoring and resource view
    New RAIDiator 5 User Interface
    New Dashboard and Setup Wizard
    Web-based file browser w/ preview

You can browse the files over the web with the ultra so that one must refer to the preview.

I have an older Duo - great device, but much slower than the Ultra...definitely pay the small extra amount for the Ultra.
