Ethernet errors (NV+)

I noticed the error numbers on my NV+ are spectacularly high...but no issues reported on SMART and I don't have dropouts while accessing the device.
It's not blazing fast but I get a steady 7-8MB/s read. MTU = 1500, Jumbo Frames off, Gigabit switch, WD Caviar Greens.

The disk info looks fine, it is the network errors that are high. Are you using cat5e or cat6 cable?

These errors are normally from bad or inferior cabling. If you are already using cat5e or cat 6 like StephenB is asking, try a different cable. If you aren't using one yet I would suggest getting one.

It's Cat5e, part of the same spool that I used to wire up my RNPP as well (no errors there). Will try swapping cables to see the effects. Thanks!
