ReadyNAS Remote on Mac is horrible !!!

We've tried it out at several of our customers and our own connection and NAS and it is AB-SO-LU-TE-LY useless ...

Sometimes you get a connection, sometimes not.

Speedwise, your faster off jumping in your car and driving an hour to get 100MB across ...

I don't understand why NetGear even wants to put this out there ... it's simply said crapware on a Mac.

So I just wanted to share this with you to stop you from wasting days trying to get this to work at a reasonable speed.
Spend you time setting up a webdav connection or so. It's a bit more effort to start, but the result is excellent (especially with the new Transmit).

Have not tested but from what I am reading on the forum it should be much better.

My experience:
Works great on windows.
Works terribly on MacOS.
