Did you install any add-ons recently? Or do stuff via SSH?

I would suggest you power down your ReadyNAS, remove disks (label order), connect to SATA port on PC and test them. See http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/hardware/how_can_i_verify_that_my_disk_is_bad

You may also wish to run the memory test: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/hardware/is_there_a_way_i_can_verify_if_my_memory_is_good

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.

Also, if you are re-using an old disk, you might need to delete the partitions (or erase it).
