Re: New Transmission add-on thread

Coucou SuperPoussin,
I deleted the old version and installed the new one.
And then I restarted the NAS (RAIDiator 4.1.5 [1.00a043] )

Another Thing I noticed : it is very very slow at checking the files...

I cleaned the torrents (meaning deleting the whole files I was dloading) and then stopped the Transmission, then deleted it (and the Transmission directory in \\Readynas\c\addons-config) and reinstall it from fresh new download.

I use FireFox.
In the NAS UI clicking the button for getting to the transmission interface pops-up an empty window.
Going to the web-interface and adding a file : nothing

Other thing : while I was able to dload several files from a private torrent, now I have a strange error :
"Connection limit exceeded! You may only leech from one location at a time" : I didn't have this error using version 1.51

Question : to change the password, I just modify the rpc-password value and the add-on will encode it by itself or should I find a way to encrypt it to add it in the file ?

[EDIT] Rolled back to 1.60 and now I can use the web-interface to upload torrents

Cheers,

Fandaor

What issue does this (twice) new 1.60 posting resolve?

I will try 1.61 again tonight, and PM my settings file.

Super-poussin:
I re-download the add-on Transmission v.1.61. Still I cannot download torrent from GUI "upload
interface when I click.
I use RAIDiator 4.2.5 with Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox ver. 3.0.10
I removed the Transmission 1.60 before this.
This is the settings.json file that you requested. I didn't touch anything about the setting.

Well, at least we're not going crazy. :)

In your case, are you adding by URL or file? Are you sure that you actually have 1.61 installed? ;)

The first 3 lines of the file are doubled in start.sh. Go take a look.

By the way, I also downgraded to 1.60, because indeed, no file upload works in the webGUI of 1.61. What a bunch of idiot package managers at transmission, to release such unfinished code like that.
