Apache log stop on Duo

I've exposed the http share over internet. So to have an overview of the traffic on it, I try to use the log files with awstats.

But It seems that access.log and error.log does'nt log anything till few days.

In fact, the logs stopped @ 23h42, next syslog is restarting @ midnight.

I know that apache log are not managed by syslog but the fact is that it seems stop working after a day till I restart apache (frontview).

Any help will be great

As you can see, nothing appends until I send a SIGHUP msg to apache2-ssl

It looks like the file was truncated or anything like logrotate without SIGHUP the process but I can't figure what is doing that (and the log files seems not rotated)

Running 4.1.6?

I recall this issue in the past. I think it is already fixed in the 4.1.7 betas, but can't remember for sure. Care to try 4.1.7? viewtopic.php?f=17&t=39470
