I recently purchased a ReadyNAS 2100 (8TB) and am wondering what my options are for backups and file versioning. Here's what I've considered so far:
1. Purchase an additional 8TB ReadyNAS and setup a VPN off location for a direct mirror every night, I have calculated everything out and it seems like it would work.
2. Backup directly to amazon S3 (Sorry Vault people elephant drive's markup is too much to swallow especially for the amount of data I have)
The one thing I'm not sure of is how to achieve versioning that works as well as shadowcopy
