selecting a usb backup drive an a port setting does not work anymore.. only when i select the USB_HDD etc share it will work.

What model ReadyNAS is this? Also, do you mean you can't select the ports, or you can select the port but it never works?

Try clearing your browser cache.

So no matter what port you select, when a USB drive is plugged into that port, the backup job fails to run? What exactly is the error you're getting?

Thanks for the config archive. According to your backup log, the backup job is set to use the USB device attached to the rear top port. Pros don't have rear top ports, however.

Looking at the backup job itself, it appears to have the settings for the front port of a Pro, or the rear top port for a 2100. Is Frontview showing the image of a Pro in the home page? Did you restore a config backup for a 2100 on to this NAS?

image show a Pro and no I did no config restore at all. Only a factory reset.
