Not quite so. You post like crazy every day, I don't rush, taking my time for quality answers.

Also, only a few people may have noticed (like dbott67, bhoar), I was on these forums back in 2004, long before I started at Infrant (2007). When I joined the company, I made a new account, and my old one went stale. I just merged my old account into the new one tonight, bringing me up another ~1300 posts or so :P

Hold on little furry one -- I also had another account back then with about 10,000 posts. Let me see if I can merge that one tomorrow too :slap: :rofl:

Good point. I agree.

Strange that you'd need two accounts (yoh-dah is the first account to have joined the forum as far as I can tell). Anyway strangely "your other account" appears to have disappeared... :slap: :rofl:

New phpBB add-on. Slip this into a cron job and run it every 15 minutes:

Code: Select all
$CHIRPA_COUNT = SELECT COUNT(*) FROM phpbb_users WHERE username = "chirpa";
UPDATE phpbb_users SET user_posts = ($CHIRPA_COUNT - 10) WHERE username = "mdgm";

PS - no snickers regarding my massive fail at SQL script! This script was written by someone whose programming knowledge can be defined by this script:

Code: Select all
Select * from users where clue > 0;
0 rows returned

Makes it interesting for us mere mortals and those who admit honestly to being clueless about programming. We have a Member Moderator over at PC World who when he was single posted like mdgm. We could never figure out when he slept since every time any of the rest of us logged on, he was on. We wound up nicknaming him Vampy, thinking he was a vampire who never needed sleep. (Kind of like mdgm). I mean, I am retired and many times stay up late (2 AM Eastern) and mdgm is still on, I wake up at weird times and log on, and find mdgm still on. Seems like any time I log on and post (like right now) the "on line" banner is next to his avatar.

Out guy later got married, got a life, and we don't see him nearly as much.

Maybe that'll happen to me too...

I do sleep. Woke up an hour or two ago, I think. It's nice to be up and get the fingers active in the morning.

Of course one of the reasons you always seem to be up is the time zones. You just got up, its almost 20:00 here in the Eastern U.S.

Over the years I learned a lot from my friend on the other forum, just as I have learned a lot from you and others on this forum who give of their time and knowledge.
