Backup Exec and RALUS

Backup Exec and RALUS

Postby oarmandt » Wed Sep 29, 2010 5:20 am

After having installed the agent I can see the line in Frontview where to specify my BackupExec server address

After entering the ip-address and saving I can see the address but when I close and come back I cannot see the address anylonger.

Which ReadyNAS is this on and what RAIDiator x86 firmware? What add-on version did you install?

The addon may work better on newer firmware.

Btw does it still work even though you can't see the IP address in Frontview?

I'm planning to upgrade the 2100 tonight - so I will find out later

I don't know if it works really - I just added the address and it updates every 4 hours I heard

So I will come back tomorrow

I'm having a smilar issue here... I put in the IP of the BE server, backups run fine, one or two days later, the IP address is gone and my backups fail. Is there any way to permanently insert that silly BE server IP address and have it stick?

We're on BE 2010 R2 (Media server version 13.0 rev 4164) using v13.0.0 of the BE agent on a ReadyNAS NVX Business Edition RAIDiator 4.2.15.
