This guide references another PDF for Win7 users in Step 14. When I click on the link, I get a file not found error. Can you please link to the Win7 troubleshooting?

I get all the way through the document up to step 14 with no problem, but still can see no shares through ReadyNas Remote. Note: I get through every step, but after I connect (with no errors or anything) I am unable to see ANY of my shares. I have guest access fully enabled on everything because I have been unable to set up security adequately/properly, so it can't be a permissions problem. This is VERY frustrating.

Thanks!

I went through the same trouble as you. As a last resort, I changed the LAN IP on my NAS from a DHCP-served IP (although a reserved IP in my DHCP) to a fixed IP (same as the previously reserved IP) and after a reboot of the NAS, I had connection to all my shares and have had it ever since. I don't think the trick with the fixed IP is mentioned in the troubleshooting guide, though?

The link is spread over two lines, so you need to copy and paste it into a text editor to get: http://www.readynas.com/download/remote/ReadyNAS%20Remote%20-%20Removing%20gateway%20from%20virtual%20network%20adapter.pdf

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.
