Make a Directory or a Share Visible on Xplorer

so go on settings
click on repositories

on create repositorie row type the name you want as label ex: Video
for driver choose file system
path /c/media/Videos
create : no
rights : 0777

click save
then ok
Image


click on users
choose the user you want and apply rights to the user
then click ok
Image


logout and login again to see the new repositorie

dont forget you have documentation here

Thank you for the information. Upon startup, I receive this warning.

"You must set a correct charset encoding in your locale definition in the form: en_us.UTF-8. Please refer to setlocale man page. If your detected locale is C, please check http://www.ajaxplorer.info/documentation/chapter-8-faq/#c87. Detected locale: C (using UTF-8)"

Do I need to address the link? Is it related to your post here?

what di you set if frontview ?
If you use utf8 it should work fine

Hi,

I have trying for a while now to find a way to copy files from my Duo to another server without having to go through my pc. Is this possible with ajaxplorer?

How do I add a remote nas/server in ajaxplorer? I just can't get it to work..:-(
What is the correct syntax to be entered?

Name of the server is : PCH-A110
User:password is nmt:1234
Share with dirs on it is /share

No matter how and what I enter, I can't see any dirs or files.

I don't know about ajaxplorer, but if you trying to copy the entire folder you can create a backup job from Frontview.
