It's accessible via the SBS web interface - that is where the above screen grab was taken from

On your PC browser type the IP address of your ReadyNAS followed by :9000 and you should get directly to your the SBS configuration screen on your ReadyNAS. There go under the tab "Information" and you should be able to see the progress of your scan...

Okay, so the 'disappeared albums/tracks' problem is solved with release 7.6.1.

You can find it here:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.6

I did the proper update as described here. This fixed the issue.

the bugfixes of the 7.6.1 are the following:
Bug Fixes:

#16037 - Music isn't found if playlist folder is the same as the music folder
#16554 - of multiple artists in tag 'artist' only one shown on controller nowplaying screen
#17298 - Filtering by artist is broken when playing an album
#17340 - Display track artists per song, not in album info
#17352 - Null item contained in empty playlist
#17365 - Won't show some artwork
#17374 - Can't play tracks in multiple sub-folders using Browse Music Folder

You can find lots of useful info here:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Squeezebox_Server

If you check chapter '3. Post installation' you will find there the description how to access the web interface.

Is the Clean_squeezecenter_db script needed for the 7.6 + versions since they are using a different database?
SQLite, right?

I used it before installing 7.6 and 7.6.1, If it is really necessary, I don't know.

dudeeg Just to say that 7.6.0 has been excellent on my ReadyNAS duo and much faster than earlier versions. Had a problem first install try as I had the Playlist directory the same as the Music one; my fault but realized it when the scan was going to take about 2 days. Now scans about 6000 tracks / hour. Some Plugins don't work for me; the BBC Information one from Triode is the most missed.

On your Bug List 7.6.1, on a Windows 7 install, it also cured Squeezebox Server Icon absent from the System Tray and allowed install of Orange LIVERADIO.

I still don't get it.

I've set everything right, but still I only see just two folders in my library on my Squeezebox Radio. This folders are the folders that I manually listened to via the folder menu.

Why isn't my library showing up!?
