Fail to log on to ReadyNAS Duo (RND2000) from Time Machine

I have installed Mac OS-X and lost contact to my RND2000. When I try to log on using my User and Password, I get the following error message "Det oppsto et problem med å koble til tjeneren "has-6f-07-1b.local". Versjonen av tjeneren som du prøver å koble til, støttes ikke. Kontakt systemadministratoren for å løse problemet". In English it is "The ver. of the server you try to connect, is not supported. Contact system administrator....".

Try the 4.1.8 beta firmware or wait for production 4.1.8 firmware (hopefully next week)

Thanks for your tip. I have now installed the 4.1.8 ver, but I still do not get access with Time Machine. I get the error message "Time Machine do not get access to the securitycopydisk "ReadyNAS" - The action could not be completed (OSStatus-error 2). Any suggestions?

4.1.8 did not seem to fix the issue with lion support as far as I can tell. I am having the same issue jarl_farstad.

So from finder I connected to a server manually (go -> connect to server) and put in the username/pass@ip address (afp://READYNAS:password@192.168.1.2) and it mounted the network share. Then from time Machine i was able to select readynas backup and back up manually. At least its working so far, its verifying the old backup still. Kinda a pain but a workaround until netgear offers a real fix.

I will try your quick fix. I have managed to get access manually with Finder, so I get both my Sonos system and File share system to work, but Time Machine I think I will wait until a fix is ready... Thanks so far!

Did that work for you jarl_farstad? Since I set it up its been backing up fine like normal.
