I streamed 1080p mkv to our PS3 from my Ultra 2 so it does work, mostly... It had a few minor pauses during the whole movie (~150min)

Yes, I used the one posted here and manually updated the .jar file of pms later on though the mkvs were working before that.

I usually watch 720p though, so that might be why i don't have a lot of problems ;)

I downloaded the linux-version of pms from their website and unpacked it to /c/addons-config/pms
it overwrote a few more things, but i backupped pms.conf and editted the new one to get my settings back.

It worked, though i think not everything went smoothly (sometimes it stopped updating or couldn't be found and it took very long to be found after a restart) and i was to lazy to search for the problem, so i uninstalled everything and went back to the version that was posted here a while back.

And I don't know much about subtitles, but it should find them automatically.

I have installed the three files that where posted in page 4.
The NAS is not showing up @ the PS3.

Do I need to do anything else?

Yes , that fixed the problem. But I also want to use the remote service. is there a way to use them both?

I also am trying to edit the pms.conf file. But every time when I save the file and restart PMS. The file has the default values ans all my changes in the file are gone.

I change the file here /c/addons-config/pms
