Loss of Power Nas Duo

Hi

Can anyone help!
I have come in this morning and my Netgear ReadyNAS tm Duo is not bworking
It has no power!
I have checked the wall socket and the fuse and all is OK

Can anyone help?

Remove the drives, make sure that you label the drives base on their original bay number. Turn on the nas and verify if it will power on. If the unit is still under warranty,call the support for replacement of the chassis.

Also note that there were some Duo v1 units with defective PSUs. See http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=27999

One would think depending on what region you are in if you have an affected unit, the PSU might be replaced even if out of warranty.

NB: A ReadyNas is not an excuse not to have a backup. Fire, theft, multiple disk failures, other hardware failure, floods, user negligence etc. can all result in loss of data.
