RAIDiator-x86 4.2.19 installed, but Update shows it as new

Postby carter3d » Tue Dec 13, 2011 9:44 am

I have RAIDiator-x86 4.2.19 installed, but the Update tab shows 4.2.19 available for upgrade. Prior to this release, if I checked for an update, it would only show new versions of code, not the one I already have installed. I have seen this on my ReadyNAS Pro, and also a friend's ReadyNAS Ultra.

The sentence above the new firmware should say that it is already installed, but you can re-apply if you like.

It used to say that the firmware was already installed, but not any more. Now it just says Perform System Update.

As long as there are no issues, this shouldn't be something of worry.

If I remember correctly, it's a known bug with 4.2.19 that it doesn't say the firmware is already installed. As mentioned above it's nothing to worry about.
