ReadyNAS Remote and ASUS Transformer

Postby RonLuxton » Fri Oct 14, 2011 12:14 pm

I can successfully access files from my ReadyNAS NV+ on my Windows network on my PC from my ASUS Transformer Tablet (Android) which will open them in a suitable app, but I can find no way of saving a modified file back to the network.

Any request to save or "save as" puts the file into the "Download" file on the Transformer. From herfe I cannot access the ReadyNAS

Drag and Drop this is not !

I can find no mention of the ReadyNAS NV+ connected to the Transformer in any of the Android's files.

Any help will be appreciated.

I'm sorry to say I have no solution for You, but I'm considering buying the Asus Transformer Prime.
I'm planning to connect and streame media (pictures etc) to and from my Transformer to my Readynas Duo, via WiFi.
Especially interested in loading pictures from memorycard into the Transformer, and over to the Readynas for storage.
May I please ask You if you would expect problems with this? You semes to be the the only on this forum with experiance with this.

Thank You so much in advance, it would be great to get positive reviews about this before I bye the Transformer.

What is the Transformer's File Browser and Web Browser?
I have seen something similar to what you explained in some Web Browsers, but might be easier to us a File Browser.

Noticed that the topic was labeled ReadyNAS Remote and ASUS Transformer; I know there is a ReadyNAS Remote for Android, but is that the question that you had in mind?
