The how-tos are probably for the duo v1, not the v2. BTW, the current V2 firmware doesn't support FTP (per the comparison chart http://www.readynas.com/wp-content/uplo ... n_Home.pdf).

Not referring to the firmware but the add-on mentioned under Limitations in the Release Notes I linked to. The add-on will enable FTP for use by ReadyNAS Remote. To install it click Configure on the Dashboard, go to Add-ons, click the + button on the far right, browse for where you've downloaded the add-on to etc.

If you open the Dashboard, click Configure, and go to Health > Logs and select Download Logs a zip file will be downloaded. Extract the zip contents and look at disk_usage.log. Can you post the contents of disk_usage.log here?

/dev/md0 is the OS partition which is 4GB and stored on the 4GB partition on the disks. You should also see your data volume(s) e.g. /dev/c/c mentioned in disk_usage.log

It shouldn't. You might wish to open a tech support (http://www.readynas.com/support) case and edit the thread title (i.e. subject of first post in this thread) to include your case number.

Is it just a problem with the add-on? If so you might be better to contact the add-on developer (when you purchased the add-on you should have got an email with an email address you can contact if you have problems).

not sure if the problem is only with the addon,il drag 5 gigs of data into the folder and see if it sends if it does then its a addon problem if not i guess all my media is going inside my os folder,if it was a addon problem surely it would show my other drive in the disk_log ? and not just the md0 folder

Yeah sounds like an OS issue not an issue with the add-on.
